12 inch PB and external monitor

I have a 12 inch PB which I love, but i could use some more screen space, does any one have any suggestions for affordable external montiors that can be added to the 12inchPB.

Can you add an Apple Cinema Display to a 12" PB? I've been considering a 12" for school, and then plugging it into a 20" cinema display @ home.

the 12" doesn't have a DVI out... only VGA
