Hi: I'm looking to underclock my FX Go5200 in my 12" Powerbook6,8
I know there are utilities available to change the clockspeed of the ATI chips in the 15 and 17 inch models, but is there any way to change the clock speed of the chip in the 12-incher? I'm looking to scoop up some battery life and cool this thing down some.
On a separate note, is it normal for the internal HDD in a powerbook to never spindown, even if the drives are set to do so? My external firewire drive spins down religously. Does OS X refuse to spin down the boot volume?
