12' Powerbook Hard Drive

Is there a way to replace the hard drive in the new 12 Inch Powerbook G4? The 40 Gig is getting too small and I need a new one. If I can upgrade it, what kind do I need to get and how much would it cost me?

I'm sure you can, but Im not sure how. Normally the apple knowledge base runs an article on stuff like that a few months after a product is released... The article about replacing the HD in an old G4 TiBook is a few months old. It's probably a lot harder on the 12" though because the keyboard doesn't come up.

Well, downloading anime can fill it up rather quickly. ^_^

But yeah, I saw that Apple Knowlege Base article about the TiBook, but it didn't seem like it would work on this. I'm also kind of wary of messing with the screws on it withough knowing what i'm doing.

That's alright, I was just curious. I have my old computer set up as firewire hard drive for the time being

Any 2.5" drive will do the job. you ca get it everywhere...
