i would say worse, as although the image will be good, it's just not suited to being a telly.
things like a remote, HDMI, tv tuner, inputs, outputs are all absent, and there is also the thing that no signal will go anywhere near the 2650x1600 or so resolution. i would save your money and get something cheaper, or use that money better and get a proper suited tv, with emphases on televisual experience, over such pointless (in the living room) features as print-perfect colour.
