3d animations

Hello, I used to make 3d animations from proyects that I create with autocad (windows)... Now I will migrate to Mac... What software I must use instead of autocad? What can I use to make the 3d animations?

Hi,
I use Autodesk Maya, but there's also Lightwave, Blender (free), Strata 3D,
Cinema 4D, ..etc. Maya wont run natively on Intel Macs so I'm still running it on my G5. I'm not sure about the others, I think Cinema 4D will work on Intel machines.
