3D paper

I have to write a 7-10  page paper on something that has to do with 3D graphics, i chose to do a paper on the process of creating a 3D game. Does anyone have any suggestions for this i have a few sites that will be helpful, and I am trying to get an interview with a local man who runs a local gaming site. If i do i am going to video tape it and use it in my presentation. For my presentation i plan on showing some 3D games, talking about stuff, and doing some demos in 3D programs of what designers do, plus the interview ::fingers crossed:: , all this will be edited in FCP so it is coherent. Any ideas, sites, or suggestions would be greately appreciatied, TIA

Shoot!
I had this great website for just this occasion! But I lost the link about a week ago!!! I'll dig around for it. But if somebody has something then go ahead and share, I don't know if I'll be able to find the site.

:(

luckily it was just extended a week so i can do some more looking maybe get a book from the library, its ok Trip if you cant find it

Well, there's a big difference between creating a 3D game and running one (as you, of course, know). I'm not completely clear on what your objectives are, could you specify a little more?

yeah i really just want to briefly go over the process of creating a game, from brainstorming to designing to programming to completely playable. Someone else is doing history of games so i had to do something more like this.

Okay, so what kind of advice are you looking for? Don't hold the camera too jerky, keep an eye out for bright light when you're in-doors as it washes out the picture...

haha sorry i know all that stuff pretty much, more on writing the paper, like if anyone has seen a site with processes of game making or read any good interviews of designers, im going to look for an interview of John Carmack since he is so huge in the FPS realm
