I recently purchased my first macbook. I have a third generation ipod which has been formatted to pc. I've been trying to restore my ipod to my macbook and does show up when it is connected through usb but it won't let me reformat it. A box comes up telling me to connect the ipod via firewire which the new macbook doesnt have! Have you any idea how I can restore it using the usb connections? Thanks
