5G iPod's shipping with Windows Virus'

just read that, too. it's not soooooo funny in fact, as it puts quite a bad light on Apple.
 
Oh lordy... um... Apple really should have calmed their ego before they stated the "upset at Windows" bit. That's a no-no. I just hope they don't get castrated digitally.

Anyway, how the hell did it happen? Some inside guy just slip a completely non-Mac .exe into the formatting system at Apple? Wowsa.
 
Guess even Apple needs to use "Windoze" from time to time. :)

I'll venture to guess it's some engineering/testing software not available on a mac. Many off-shore production companies (read in Asia) use their own production processes that usually don't include macs.
 
(they've dropped the 'iPod with Video' thing. they said at first that it's not a 'Video iPod', it's just an ipod that happens to play video...)
 
well, they're selling movies on iTunes now. Kinda hard to hide the fact that the 5G iPods do video _now_. :)
