I have an 8500 which is pretty much stock. I have been able to install a G3/500 card. Have 9.2.2 and 10.2.2 running, and 400 MB ram. I have installed a 2GB internal Jaz drive. When I started this all, the drive worked fine. Now when I access a cartridge, there is a lot of drive activity, more than was normal. File copying is a long time, reading the drive takes a long time. Tried to read a wav file (about 500 Kb in size) took over ten minutes to load. All this is in X side and classic. This same cartridge in another machine has about the same problem. I haven't been able to take the files of the jaz drive to try and reformat. If any one has any ideas please let me know.
