A possible twist to the 28th announcement...

MacRumors is saying that Apple will possibly announce a "communication device" that is not a phone and not a PDA. It will connect to both a Powerbook and Cinema Display.

If MacRumors is right, could it be the PowerPod/SuperPod or whatever that be the TabletPC rival?

The idea sounds pretty cool to me. If it does the things I would like, I could have a presentation in flash in this device. I could have my life and files in this one device ie PDA stuff, portfolio pieces, necessary docs, games for my son, etc. And if it ran OS X, have full versions of Photoshop, Word, Safari, etc. Possible to have an ethernet plug/Airport for surfing and email. Yes it would be spendy but there is a need for an item like this.

a powerbook and a cinema display..... Why not the best selling product of Apple? Like an iMac or an iBook?

Apple also said "will be music in your ears". This is one of those rumours that is cool if for some freaky accident turns out to be true and will be forgotten if not. I call them the "see I've told you"-rumours.

Why could it not be the next generation iPod!?! If it doesn't happen, so what. There is a new iPod. It is a win/win situation. Cool device? Yeah New iPod only? Still Yeah!
