I am so frustrated with Network connection problem on a number of my Macs all running 10.3.9 on our LAN. The odd part is that not all the Macs are having this problem, even though all are configured nearly the same.
It' particularly bad on my G4 1GHz TiBook. Everytime, on the affected Macs, when you launch Network from the Go menu the network window "flashes" and disappears immediately. Launch again and it will MOST of the time will stay open, but then certain "Shares" particularly under "Local" won't show up (like our Buffalo LinkShare 160GB NAS) and some "Shares" even under "Workgroup" that are listed fail users name and password with an error " ...... can't be found" to paraphrase.
I have tossed every logical plist including Finders plist and nothing changes the situation.
I'm hoping some of you have had this problem and know a solution before it drives me crazy. Thanks in advance.
