Accedently Deleted!

Hello I recently cleaned out my computer. I got rid of everything I didnt need anymore.All of my old files and stuff that crowdded up my computer are gone now. The problem is I accidently deleted ichat, I dont know how it happened ! Is there anything I can do to get it back?

Reinstall the system. Using the discs that came with your computer. iChat is part of OS X base system and will be reinstalled when you do this. Insert the disc. Hold down the "c" key to start up from it. When prompted, choose "Archive and Reinstall" and make sure (it's the default) that youre preserving the users and network settings, and go to town.
 
There is a little app available through Macupdate.com called Pacifist, which enables you to extract individual files and applications from your install CD's. Read the instructions, and it's as easy as pie.
