Activate Virtual Memory?

I recently purchased a photo program made by Corel for my Emac. I bought this on ebay, so there's not much help from the seller. The program says clearly that it is for Mac and looks like it will be great if I can only get it loaded on my machine. The problem is that it says I need to activate Virtual Memory before the program can load. Does anybody know how to activate virtual memory on an Emac?

The answer is very simple for any Macintosh, eMacs included, running OS X, all you have to do is boot into OS X. That is it! Virtual Memory is an integral part of OS X that is always on and cannot be turned off. By any chance is the application you are trying to install a classic app?

If the application is for OS 9, and your eMac will boot OS 9, then boot into OS 9, navigate to the control panels, open Virtual memory and turn it on.

If the application is for OS 9 and you are trying to run it in the classic environment of OS X and you are still getting the message or your eMac is not one that can boot into OS 9, contact the seller on eBay and see if you can send the application back for a refund.
