Add Cooling Fan

I have been beefing my old iMac Tangerine. With beefing up comes heat and I need to figure a way to get rid of this internal heat. The room its in is at a constant 72*F but, the computer seems to roar with heat. Is there a way to put in a bigger cooling fan or another cooling fan to rid the Mac of this heat?

I am not worried about loudness ad the external hard drives, Air condictioning and Stereo system are loud enough that I will not hear anything else :).

Thanks for your advise.

If I am correct I do not believe the CRT iMacs even have one cooling fan. I remember reading somewhere after getting mine that it used heat induction or something. Basically all the heat inside is dispersed via big heat sinks and because heat rises it comes out the top where the handle is. I've kinda wanted to put a cooling fan into my iMac since it's in a warm bedroom. If you really wanted want I think it could be possible to pop the case and get a 2-way splitter for the power cable to the hard drive...I'm pretty sure it's the standard molex connector PCs use, seeing as hard drives are fairly standard across the board. The 2-way splitter would allow you to connect another device, in which case you could hook a fan up. This would be kind of nuts but in theory it would work. Another possibility could be to maybe get a small 120v-powered fan and suspend it above the top vent of the computer. By having it suck air out that vent, it might help to cool it off a little. Just some thoughts.

Well, I have an iMac 333mhz and there is a cooling fan. I know there is I have seen and touched it my self. Its just that the iMac is soo compact it is hard to add anything to it. I was thinking of upgrading the iMac cooling fan to a faster more air cooling fan.

The fan size is 90x90x25mm and about 57 CFM. I am looking for another fan of this size but with a CFM around 100+. If you could point me in the dirrection of where to look I would be gratefull.
