I use a Mac running OS X 10.4.11. This morning I tried opening my address book and got the "spinning pinwheel of death" that lasted 10-15 min. "Force Quit" wouldn't work, so I had to hard reboot. When I tried to open my address book all the entries were gone. I back up everything automatically continuously on an external hard drive and when I try to access the address book backup file, it says "You cannot open the application "Address book" because it may be damaged or incomplete". I didn't update anything prior to having this problem. HELP!!!
