I wanted to replace my laptop AddressBook entries with those of my desktop Mac. W. So I moved my desktop folder AddressBook from Library:Application Support into my Public folder. When I reopened AddressBook on the desktop, it was blank. So I merely copied the folder from Public into the Application Support folder. However AddressBook still shows as empty. I also tried renaming AddressBook.data.previous (deleting .previous) and that did not work either. The file size of the AddressBook.data file in my Public folder is the original filesize, suggesting nothing is lost. I can open that data file in TextEdit and all my previous contact info is indeed there but AddressBook does not seem to read it. What do I do now?
