Adjusting a Powerbook LCD screen?

I have a new 17" Powerbook, but I've noticed that on the left extreme of the screen, a line of pixels seem to be missing. I know this because if I lower the resolution to a 4:3 aspect ratio, I see the border of a maximized window, but I cant see it at full 1440x900. Its only one pixel deep thats missing. I don't think it's a line of dead pixels, because the border between the screen and the casing on the right hand side seems thicker than on the left hand side. If I had to guess, the screen looks like its off center, it should be moved one pixel over to the right.

My question then: Are there any utilities/hacks for adjusting the position of an LCD screen? Nothing like that is included in Mac OS X of course, but any way to move the orientation over one pixel would be exactly what I need to regain that line.
