Got a problem with Adobe Reader - recently downloaded the newest version, and it automatically set itself as the default pdf reader in Safari. This is a pain, as it's completely overburdened with functions...
Tried to unset it, but the button was turned off in the Adobe reader preferences (this is new, I think...)
So, I uninstalled. But still PDFs ran in Adobe... turned out a thing called AdobeViewer had installed itself as well.
So I uninstalled that - and now any online pdfs don't show up in Safari at all.
Am I just collatoral damage in the war between apple and adobe? Either way, it's not a good feeling...
Any advice anyone?
