After upgrading to 10.3.9...iTunes or Quicktime wont play my music files

After upgrading to 10.3.9...iTunes or Quicktime wont play my music files.

I have tried to delete iTunes and reinstall...still wont work.

Can anyone help me?

Did you open (run, launch) 'Disk Utility' (in the '/Applications/Utilities/' folder), select the boot drive's icon in the left side column, and via the 'First Aid' tab click on the 'Repair Disk Permissions' button (at least twice)?
