Im having some problems configuring an Airport Express for use with iBook G3 with mac osx 10.4.3.
At first, the wireless signal was relaying without problems, though the status light continually blinked amber. The Airport Express would not recognize the audio plug to use Airtunes properly. Also, Airport Express was not recognized in the Airport Admin Utility.
I tried following the directions for a hard reset, and then reconfigure the Airport Express with the Airport Setup Assistant, but I get an error. The program "sees" the network by the name printed on the Airport Ex, but after clicking continue to search for the station, it cannot recognize the base station anymore.
I have no problems when hooked up to the DSL router (Tecom AR4031B) directly.
