Help...
I'm stuck - My girlfriend has an G4 800MHz iMac PowerPC and I'm trying to get her attached to my WiFi network. But I'm not gonna buy an old 802.11b Airport card for £50-£60.
I bought a USB dongle that I was informed would work (has a generic chipset apparently that has Mac Support - I found mac drivers for it) but that didn't work.
Now I'm wondering if anyone has successfully networked an older Mac without having to cough up so much ofr out of date technology?
Any Ideas? Could I pick up an old router and connect the Mac via ethernet and then connec tthe router to the ADSL router?
Any ideas appreciated.
Cheers!
