question:
i just purchased a 867 tibook. i bought an airport card and installed it. i bought a base station and hooked it up to my desktop g4867 downstairs. i hooked up my cable modem to it too. i get interenet on the powerbook and its great. however do i need an airport card for my desktop where i have the base station? i go to utitlites annd try and configure the basestation and it says no airport card avaialble. i thought i just had to hook up the basestation via ethernet cable from my desktop? no?
i want to be able to grab files with my tibook from my desktop.
