Airport Card Authenticating - WEP Enabled WRT54G Router

The only way I can connect my PowerBook G4 Airport throught my WRT54G router is to disable WEP. What gives? Any suggestions?

When I've configured my router for WEP, I've selected the 128 bit 26 hex digit. My PowerBook Airport Utility sees it. But when I try to connect and plug in my Password Phrase or WEP key code, it errors out. -Unable to connect.

My work-around is to physically connect it to my routher via ethernet.

Please help.

If memory serves, you'll need to use 'WEP password' as the security option to connect rather than 'hex'
