I am new here and hope to get an answer to a frustrating problem.
I have a new (less then a year old) PowerBook G4 but I can't get on to a wireless network. First I tried to connect to a friends network, I can see and join the network but can't get on the net. Then I tried my own at home. I have a Netgear DG632 ADSl Modem Router that works great with the ethernet cable connected. As soon as I put my WGR614V4 wireless router in the middle it deosn't work. I have tried everything that tech support and Netgear has told me so I think the problem is my Airport card itself. I can't seem to find a way to update the firmware if that is the problem. The current version is:
Wireless Card Type: AirPort Extreme
Wireless Card Locale:USA
Wireless Card Firmware Version: 404.2 (3.90.34.0.p16)
Current Wireless Network:wireless network not available
