Airport Card Not Working

Hi,
recently my airport card has been failing. im using it with the netgeat 802.11b. all the other wireless computers in the house are working, and its not picking up on my computer in panther, or 9....only once in a blue moon does it recognize the netgear. ive been using the card for about 3 years now and i havent had the chance yet to call apple, they're closed right now. hopefully since ive never called about issues with my card, they wont care its been well over a year. i was wondering if anyone else was getting these types of problems. thanks

Where is that troubled computer located? If you have metal in the walls you will experience trouble.
Move the computer to a different location in the room and see if that helps.

As for waiting three years to call Apple, I am not sure they will see your side.

ok, well, ive been in the same location in my room with my powerbook for the past 2 years. anyway, i took the airport from the iBook, and put it into my PB, and put my PB's card into the iBook. the iBook card worked on my machine, but my card did not work on the ibook. so now i know its the card thats broken. i called apple, and they said im past warranty and id only have to buy a new one...::sigh:: here goes a waste of $80 from my savings for my G5...
