I noticed there were some similar sounding questions, but I didn't see anything that specifically answered my questions, so here goes:
I have a router with just the one ethernet line coming out of it. That goes into my airport extreme. (router to the broadband cable connection, of course). I have a b/g airport as a booster to the back bedrooms. This was a nightmare to get to work, but it's currently fine.
The new internet connectible Panasonic g20 will be sitting right next to the modem and router. In fact, the router is currently sitting ON the tv stand.
Here are the questions: 1) reading over the manual I downloaded BEFORE purchasing the tv, I see there is a "wireless" set of instructions. Will the tv "find" my current WiFi set up? Now, I assume the caveat to "should" or "it depends" (re: finding the WiFI) will also depend on the fact that I have the computers and the wifi setup with extra security ie the password, pairing stuff, so I guess I'll have to remove that to have this work? Maybe? Maybe not? And, the follow up, if it does work, will it affect my signal strength to the APE b/g that goes to the back office (or is this something I'd have to remember to "turn off and on.")
2) Could I simply use a hub between the router and the tv, and hook the airport extreme into one slot of the hub, the tv into the other slot on the hub, and connect the hub, obviously to the router?
3) And, finally, is there any other cheap solution? How about a router with more than one ethernet output?
