My Airport base station doesn't reach to my studio, so I installed an underground ethernet cable. What I'd really like in the studio is a second wireless network, connected by ethernet to the first. Essentially I'm looking for a wireless hub (not a router). I bought an Airport Express, since the MacWorld article made it seem like it could work as a wireless hub, but it seems able only to function as either a "wireless client" or a "home router." In the first case, it won't connect to the main airport base station via ethernet, only via wireless -- and of course it is out of range. In the second case, it works fairly well, but seems to pooch the main base station so nothing can connect to it. Also, it doesn't seem to support appletalk devices connected through the ethernet cable. Any ideas how I could make it work?
