Airport express...what am I doing wrong?

This is driving me nuts. I've set up my new Airport Express unit to stream music from iTunes to my HiFI. Thing is the option to select the Airport Express unit (named Lounge) only appears in iTunes when I select 'Lounge' from the main Airport menu. In doing this I lose my internet connection from my WiFi network called Linksys. How do I keep both 'Linksys' and 'Lounge' active?

Thanks for looking.

You need to set up your airport as 'join the existing network' rather than create/extend your network. At the moment your airport is creating a network and so is the linksys. Meaning you have 2 networks, instead of one network consisting of your linksys and your airport. You need one network to make this work as you wish.
Also, if you use mac address filtering on your linksys, you'll need to add the airport to your 'allow' list.

Thanks very much...all working now. One more question though...what difference does the Streaming Buffer Size option make in Advanced Prefs in iTunes?

If you have a slow connection you will probably need a larger buffer (store). It may take a bit longer to load and start a stream though.
