Hi All,
I've been having a weird problem with an airport network and a printer connected through USB.
The printer is a HP Laserjet 1200 and the OS is OS X 10.3.9.
The Airport software is fully up to date and so are the machines trying to connect to it.
What the problem is, is that some computers can connect to it and some cannot.
When a computer cannot print to it it comes up with 'Looking for printer' in the printing dialog box instead of the usual 'Connecting to Printer' or 'Sending Print Job'.
After deleting the printer in the printer setup utility and trying to add it again it won't show up. I'm using the Rendevous part of the Printer Setup Utility and it just won't see the printer or anything for that matter. I would put this down to a problem with Rendevous or a single machine but it's happened to a few machines and I can't get them back online to print.
The weird thing is it's only happening on a few machines and the rest are fine. Nothing has changed in the setup of the computers they just can't print.
Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks In Advance.
