Airport Sharing

I have an iMac G5 with airport card. I am connected to internet via DSL. I understand I can use my Mac as a base for other computers to share my internet access, for example, when my daughters and sons-in-law visit they would be able to access the internet wirelessly through my Mac Airport. They use PC's but I understand my Mac would basically serve as WiFi base. I have not used this feature but I am more concerned that I do not corrupt my current computer set up. I am not on a network. My tech knowledge is probably about intermediate.

My Question: In order to activate this feature, is the only thing necessary to do is go to System Preferences -> Network -> Sharing and under Internet Sharing Off, just click on Start? Are there any specific concerns I should be aware of before I do? Once I press start, I can control it's use by turning Airport on or off?

Yes, it's that easy. Basically, you'll be sharing your DSL-connection (that you've got through Ethernet, I guess) over AirPort. As soon as you turn off AirPort, the sharing's off as well (or you can stop sharing the connection where you're activating it now).
