I have desktop G4 AGP MacOS 10.3.9. I cannot put it to sleep as after a few minutes I get a sound like I got once when updating firmware in MacOS 9. Not asleep but unconsious and requiring a pushbutton restart. Very nasty! Normally I keep it awake but recently meet a user with an IBook G4 with the same problem, a sad thing in a notebook user as it cannot be carried closed.
