i'm working on an iMac G3 running panther. i previously tried to install a CS disc but this had a scratch down, so i rebooted, got a new disc and started again. all the programmes look to have installed fine but when i come to start them up, i get quite far through the start up screen and then it stops. the bug report to apple says something about bad access? i really am about to throw the thing through the window any second so any help asap would be appreciated. please bear in mind, i normally have an IS dept to sort this out but this is my home machine so i'm not too clued up.
