All files are gone

I am running Mac OS X 10.4.10, I restarted my computer earlier and all of my files are missing. The documents, desktop, and library folders show up under my user but there are no files in those folders. I have tried searching for my files with spotlight, but none can be found. Please let me know how this can be fixed.

No need to create duplicate threads. It just confuses things and doesn't get you the answer you want any quicker. Just stick to the original thread you created.
