HA! HA! HA!
There's a short Batman film being talked about in many comic- and film-related boards. The film is called Batman: Dead End. It's basically a six-minute kick @$$ Batman flick with some nice surprises.
It's basically the Alex Ross Bats come to life. The director/writer/producer works in the movie industry and did the film as a project to demonstrate his directorial abilities (he's also done commercials and set design, creature creations for flicks, etc).
I was blown away when I saw it, even though I had already heard of the surprises. And for a six-minute film, it easily compares (and even betters in many ways) the Batman films, especially the last couple of stinkers (this Batman doesn't have a BatAmex for when he's at charity auctions). ::ha::
It's not a warez since the director and copyright owner has distributed it following the premiere at a San Diego comic convention. Ain'titcoolnews.com is reportedly going to have a QuickTime version of it up in the next few days.
If you're a Batman fan, you'll love this. I would have paid full price of a movie ticket to see this and it would have been worth my money to do so.
