Analog referrers

Simple problem, solution tentative.

When going through my referrer list in my Analog-generated statistics, the overwhelming majority are internal references (my site to my site). It's nice to see which pages users have been viewing, but it's difficult to weed out the external references out of all of it. Is it even possible to configure Analog to exclude internal references from its referrers list?

This should do the trick for you. Just add the following to your analog.cfg

REFREPEXCLUDE http://*yoursite.com/* # Referrer Report
REFSITEEXCLUDE http://*yoursite.com/ # Referring Site Report

The * is to make sure both www.yoursite.com and yoursite.com are taken out. The * at the end of REFREPEXCLUDE makes sure all the pages from your site are taken out of the referrer report.

Glad to help. That's one of the things I like about Analog, it can do so many different things. If you have not done so already, take a look in the docs folder and click on indx.html. This is in your Analog folder and it will tell you about all the neat things it can do to your log files.
