EDIT: I've search around here too for the fix, nothing i've found has worked

Im runnin OSX 10.5 and recently got a Lacie 1TB hard drive. I formatted this to FAT32 so i can use it on my mac as well as watch movies off of it on my PS3.

THe problem is, some of the movies copy fine over to the HD, but some come up with an Error 36 where it says that the file cannot be read or written. This doesnt just happen on this Hard drive, but also on an older WD one and all my flash drives. It doesnt happen all the time, but only sometimes, and usually with downloaded movies or shows.

Can anyone help me with this?

Did you make sure the partition scheme was set to MBR (Master Boot Record)? Also with FAT32 you are limited to a max of 4GB file sizes.

Yes, that will allow bigger than 4 GB files.

But with NTSC you will only get read and write from Mac OS X side, not execute. So you can read and write files, but you can't execute or delete them.
