Any idea how long Apple Europe takes to deliver?

I am ordering an iBook from Apple very soon.

It's a custom built one,
512 mb /768mb RAM
60 GB HD
12.1 inch screen
Wireless card built in
Bluetooth Built in
Bluetooth Mouse
Combo Drive

How long do you think it'd take to build, and more importantly to recieve?
 
AFAIK you can just walk in to an authorized Apple reseller, tell them what you want and leave half an hour later with your new Mac. That's what I did.
 
Oh....I contacted 2 dealers and both said they cna do the RAM...but not the wireless stuff, bluetooth and Hard Disk....they said Apple would have to do that.
 
Strange, here they did all that for me. Too bad, it probably varies from reseller to reseller. I don't know what the shipping times are, but if you order from the Apple online Store they will give you an estimate of the delivery time.
 
It'll probably take some time to do the hard disk since they have to dismantle the iBook to access the hard disk. I took about 5 hours to dismantle and put my iBook back together after upgrading my harddisk. A qualified technician could probably do it in 3 hours, but that's not much better. Most shops in the UK charge about £100 to upgrade the harddisk, and I found out why after much toil and sweat.

Cat probably got his powerbook within half an hour because they already had powerbooks with the fitted harddisks. All they needed to do was to fit the RAM, bluetooth, and such.
