Anybody else noticed this little problem in The Gimp?

I noticed that in The Gimp for Mac, everything works on the second click. Like when going to use the paint brush tool, and when you go to drag it freezes, and then when you let off and then drag it works. I'm not asking for help or anything, but I noticed that this is kind of annoying.
 
I'll check tomorrow what version it is. I'm currently away from my Mac and I have to use a PC, so I have Linux running on it. Slax (A distro based on Slackware).
 
I had the same problem. It used to randomly shut itself down halfway through doing something too, so I got rid of it.
 
Isn't this a problem with X11? Gimp doesn't use the native OS X components, but uses X11 to draw all the interface elements. I reckon that the first click is to get the focus to the correct X11 window, and the 2nd click only gets 'transferred' to the correct interface element.

This is just my guess though, since it happens with other X11 apps that I use too like Glade
