I just ran a Java 2 Platform (with swing components) JApplet in Internet Explorer, and before I could say, "Oh, IE doesn't support that," it worked just fine. Maybe it always has, but I kept hearing people complain about applets not working well in IE (I never really tested it), but at least 5.2.whatever worked for me now with Jaguar.
