Anyone know how to read a kernel panic log?

I'm using a program called Logic by eMagic. After running it for about a half hour, my dual gig gets a kernel attack. After booting it up again, I get 2 other freeze crashes, that ended up with a high percing tone coming from the speaker monitors. I'm using 10.2.6 w/ 1.5 ram. Here are the logs. The first a "Panic Log", the second "Directory Service Log".

Is there any way of finding what any of this means? Thanks in advance.

Is there an update to Logic that you can download? Or purchase?

BTW, Apple bought eMagic.

I have the latest version of Logic. I removed everything to do with Norton Utilities. I've been told it doesn't like being on the same drive as Logic.
See if that helps.

Does anyone know what "simple lock deadlock detection" means?

Thanks for your time.
Dean

Deadlock

"deadlock is a situation in which two computer programs sharing the same resource are effectively preventing each other from accessing the resource, resulting in both programs ceasing to function."

Some info HERE

Haven't found any cure for this problem. I would contact Apple and send them the log.
