Anyone try installing over a linux partition?

From what I've seen, it won't work.

I had YDL Champion Svr on a Rev C iMac, and all MacOSX was able to see for drives was the little 200meg part that I'd left over from doing the YDL install. The rest of the (6GB) drive was either ext2 or swap. I ended up reparting the drive, and installing X that way.
