Anything similar to Rainlendar for Mac?

iCal is a fine planning and scheduling application, but I really miss being about to see a small, graphical representation of my week's plans right there on the desktop. Is there any way to make iCal work more like Rainlendar in that way? Or is there another Mac app with those properties? (A Dashboard widget wouldn't really work for me...)

In the interest of helping other PC-to-Mac switchers who love the Windows app, Rainlendar, I'll answer my own question:

I found a great program that displays a working calendar on my desktop, which has the added value of coordinating events and alarms with either Entourage or iCal. It's called MenuCalendarClock, and you can get it here for free: http://www.objectpark.net/
