Apple Cinema Display 23" question

I'd like to buy an Apple Cinema Display 23" as now it costs less.

But my question is:
23" LCD is old (1920x1200 pixel).
When will it be updated?
 
I wouldn't hold your breathe. This is the Top of the Line for Apple made displays right now. A few months ago there was a rumor of Apple working on a 30", but I can't even render a guess at what that will cost.

Just go for the 23", make the rest of us supremely jealous, and be happy. If you don't like it, get the 30" if/when it comes out, and go ahead and give me the 23"....

See, that's the kind of guy I am...I am willing to help you out by taking that worthless 23" godsend off your hands so you can be happier. Damn I'm a nice guy!

I currently own the Cinema Display HD, and it is rediculously big. It has also saved my vision. Go ahead and get one, it is quite a spectacle.

it seems spectacular indeed, i wish i could have so much desktop space. but make sure you get a real good video card and play a lot of video games on that monster!
 
That monitor is still newer than most of the computer equipment in my house (like, 5 G3-based computer). Get it if you want it: it's top-notch quality and incredible screen size.
