Apple Enterprise Software?

Does anyone know if the NextStep install images at:
Code:
ftp://ftp.apple.com/Apple_Support_Area/Apple_Software_Updates/MultiCountry/Enterprise/nextstep/floppyimages/
are full versions of NextStep 3? Mac or PC? I can't seem to find anything on Apple's site.

I think Apple's NextStep/OpenStep should be free, just like the old System 6-7.5.3 downloads. I never had a chance to use any NextStep stuff. It sounds like fun.

Those images are the boot and drivers disk images which were only needed for the Intel version.

As for NEXTSTEP/OPENSTEP being free, Apple was still charging $800 per user license as late as 1999. Considering that 7.5.3 was released back in January of 1996 at about $100, and A/UX 3.0 (which has not been released as a free download) was last sold in 1994 at about $800, I would guess we would see Apple release A/UX for free long before OPENSTEP.

You can get OPENSTEP (not for free) from Black Hole, and most of the best software for end users is free for download with the license codes.

Thanks for your help. I assumed Apple would still want to keep an enterprise option they acquired.
