Apple losing the education market

stats like this can be deceiving. i'm a student and qualify for the discounts but frankly i liked the deals thru online venders with added ram so i bought thru them instead. i imagine quite a few other students are doing this as well. if apple wants to record student/education accounts as something important to them, they are going to have to offer better deals.
on the other hand, i think overall sales and profits are more important than where they come from.
 
Yeah, I can identify with that as well. $50 or $100 bucks off a serveral thousand dollar computer isn't going to do it for me a lot of times. The offers that the catalogs have are better, I think.
