Purveyor of Thought...
Hello, and Happy New Year.
I am experiencing a rather unusual (to me) problem.
When I initially launch Apple mail, from the icon in the Dock, the application launches fine, but the main mail window that appears doesn't get focus.
I have launched the other applications that reside in my dock and when they open they immediately have focus... with mail, I have to click on the window to acquire focus... What can I do to get mail to acquire focus upon launch.
I have two plugins installed, "Mail appetizer and Mail followup". I uninstalled them and same result. I re-installed mail after deleting preference plist files and still the same. I don't know what to do next, repairing permissions did not solve the issue either.
Apple Tech was ineffective in solving the issue, she actually didn't know what 'focus' meant so I am not surprised. I need your help if possible. Please respond either here or to email.
