Is it possible (and how would one go about it) to reload just the Mail application from the Jaguar CD? After updating to 10.2.4, Mail ceased to function. Thanks in advance.
 
I imagine so. Now if you try to open mail, what happens?

Probably better will be trying first to delete the prefernces of mail - that could work as well - jsut better know first what happens actually..
 
Give Pacifist, available here, a shot. It will let you extract or install selected items from .pkg files. If you choose to "Install" something it will install your selection to it's default location (i.e.- If you choose to install Mail.app, Pacifist will install it in /Applications).
