Are those cute little Apple Pro Speakers magnetically shielded? It's never mentioned explicitly anywhere, and it would be a darn shame if they're not, even though I've got a TFT, I've got magnetic storage media on my desktop...

Any ideas? So far I've had no problem but you never know 3 months down the line...

I can't imagine any speakers designed specifically for computers be unshielded. I think the best thing to do would be to check at Apple's support site online.

Got an iBook, gotta used to builtin speakers, but I use a headphone most of the time.

i have some nice 3 piece Logitech setup on my g4... it does around 30 watts. Sounds great for games and mp3s.

Used some old creative speakers for a while but I suggest everybody connects their Mac to their Prof. Sound System ... A good amplifier, 4x120W RMS can make a game of Quake 3 or UT a LOT more fun :)

I always seem to have a problem with buying high priced junk... I have some nice HK soundsticks, but the plastic on the 2 speakers is beginning to come off so I'm superglueing them back together (lmao). Then the little rubber stoppers came off the base... sigh... kind of reminds me of my shoes... these $100 pieces of mierda started falling apart after the first week. PM me if you want me to rave more about this :D
