this is kinda silly but, is there a way to just see the freeware programs from here...

i've never found one. you do know about www.versiontracker.com and www.macupdate.com , right? both clearly mark what kind of software every release is so it's easier to pick out the free ones.

Well one way would be to add the word "freeware" to your search, though this doesn't do exactly what you want.

In VT and MU, click on "License" to sort via freeware, shareware, etc.
