Apple's Stock

I don't know if you guys follow Apple's stock pricing, but it has boomed so far from yesterday and today.
Yesterday it went up 1.27 and today it is up an additional 1.57 last time I checked. What is going on?
Anyone have an idea? This is really great, however.
 
Most likely the success of the iPod mini...the things are selling quite well right now and investors are taking notice.
 
It was also suggested that the increases were due to unsubstantiated rumors that Sony was planning to take over Apple, but I think most of us agree that kind of move makes no business sense.

People are going ga-ga over the iPod Mini. Who'da thought it? Definitely not me, at least for $250. But hey, if they can get that kind of cash, more power to them!!
